Chiara is an experienced Italian Pastry and Gelato Chef, who grew up in an historical Gelato shop owned by her parents in Piedmont, the Soban Gelato Shop founded in Valenza in 1924. The family Soban together with Chiara has been nominated several times as one of the best Gelato shop (Gelateria) in the world, and won for several years in a row the prestigious “3 Coni” prize by Gambero Rosso given to Italy’s best Gelato shops.
Chiara will teach you how to master the art of making Gelato at home, starting from the basics. No prior experience or knowledge is required. A unique chance to learn from a real "maestro".
But that's not all! Chiara will also provide you with invaluable tips on how to make the end of your Friday's dinner a memorable dessert for your guests.
The course will end with a taste of gelato together with a light lunch.

"Buono - Food&Wine Lab in Malmö" is a concept for cooking classes, team building activities, wine and beverage tastings, private events and dinners (e.g. bachelor & bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, work meetings). Behind the curtains, we are Chiara&Matteo, an Italian couple in love with Malmö: a pastry chef together with a sommelier with a strong passion for food & drink.
In addition to that, “Buono” is also an Italian-inspired catering business with the production and sale of delicacies, such as Panettoni (Italian Christmas cake), cakes, pralines, cakes, various desserts and pastries, snacks and both sweet and savoury products.
